Where do you come from, and where are you headed? I was born in Mönchengladbach and currently live in Willich. Now I would like to start my next journey and come to your island! My plan is to move to Düsseldorf in the course of the year.
I'm very good at not only looking at the big picture but also at small details. Furthermore I'm a very empathic person and find it important to always communicate with each other. I would like to develop myself further at Parasol Island by being open to everything and showing my strengths as well as facing my weaknesses.
What bores me a lot are monotonous tasks that are always repeated. I once worked at an asparagus farm and always had to peel asparagus, which was really boring. On the other hand, I love facing my fears and going beyond my limits. This year I did a skydive even though I'm terrified of heights. It was pure adrenaline - I can only recommend it!
To be honest, my current object of desire is a car. I'm saving up and would like to get my own car soon to be even more independent. What really moves me? - I can only say a successful experience and thinking about new projects and then starting them.
The smartphone is an indispensable gadget, because it allows us to stay connected and we have access to a lot of information. I especially noticed that while I was abroad in New Zealand, I always knew that I could call my family and friends. One application I can think of that always has a solution is Google Maps which has navigation and real-time traffic updates.
Honestly I only visit websites for the weather, for example "Regenradar" or to be updated I visit the website "Tagesschau". Offline I love to meet my friends and go out for a picnic or to play tennis, just to be active and outside.
I'm really enjoying the music from Coldplay at the moment. Especially the song "Viva la vida". Classics I wouldn't want anyone to miss are "Waterloo" from ABBA and also "We are the champions" from queen. |

Where do you come from, and where are you headed? I recently got my Bachelor's Degree at the Internationale Filmschule Cologne, and I'm trying to find work where I can pursue my passion for CG imagery while working with nice People. What skills would you bring to the company? How would you want to develop your talents? I think I'm a good CG artist and can quickly adapt to new environments and tasks and I’m easy to work with. I want to develop my skills by working on great projects with great colleagues. What bores you to death and what ramps up your adrenaline level? I get bored to death by endless feedback loops about completely irrelevant parts of a shot, especially when the deadline is near. I get an adrenaline rush when I am faced with a challenge and I figure out how to overcome it, also when I go Karting. What’s your current object of desire, and what really moves you? I'm saving up to buy myself my first car. I'm motivated because I really like this Job in VFX and I'm trying to make it work for the long term. What gadget is indispensable and which application always has a solution? I always have my Bluetooth earbuds with me, either to listen to music or to make my surroundings quieter. No Application is that good that it always has a solution in my opinion. What website do you visit frequently? Whom do you meet offline? I frequently visit YouTube to meet my content needs. I meet my Family, Friends, and Girlfriend regularly. What music are you enjoying at the moment? What are classics you would not want anyone to miss? I mainly listen to Rap. Some of my most listened-to songs are from Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, and Rin, Makko on the German side. But from time to time I also enjoy Rock, Phonk, and DnB. |

Where do you come from, and where are you headed? I'm originally from the Ruhr area and – like most people from there – I consider myself quite well grounded. At some point I was drawn out into the world – first to New Jersey for my last year in high school, moved on to beautiful Oregon for one semester at the university and finished my studies in Düsseldorf. After starting my professional career in Düsseldorf I moved on to Barcelona, and for the past 16 years I have remained in Berlin. Now that I'm finally able to work for Parasol Island, I'm happy to be back in Düsseldorf more often. To be honest, I sometimes miss the humour of the Rhinelanders in Berlin.

Where do you come from, and where are you headed?
I come from Brazil, live in Germany and want to cook for Parasol Island in the future. What skills would you bring to the company? How would you want to develop your talents? I bring all my experience of more than 15 years as a cook and maybe in the future I can also show my skills as a photographer. I would like to develop my talents by exchanging information and experiences with the team, putting my creativity into practice. What bores you to death and what ramps up your adrenaline level? Monotony bores me and challenges get my adrenaline pumping. What’s your current object of desire, and what really moves you? My current object of desire is a new coffee machine and what drives me is the desire for a better life. What gadget is indispensable and which application always has a solution? My cell phone is almost indispensable, and the app that helps me a lot is DeepL. What website do you visit frequently? Whom do you meet offline? I often visit Youtube. I like to spend a lot of time with my wife and meet up with my friends in the same way. What music are you enjoying at the moment? What are classics you would not want anyone to miss? I love punk rock and hardcore and still listen to the same music I did 20 years ago: The Ramones are a timeless classic for me! |

Where do you come from, and where are you headed? I started taping commercials on VHS when I was a teenager. Well, I always had a great passion for advertising. I got my first job at Jung von Matt in the 1990s more or less by accident, when the agency was still in its baby shoes, when we had no internet there but fax and only one layer in Photoshop. I have spent the last 4,5 years in HR at BBDO – mainly growing an international team with talents from all over the world. Let me say it with a quote from C.S. Lewis, "Onward and Upward!" The opportunity to learn and to develop your talents further never stops. Rather, it is a journey that never ends throughout our lives. It always starts with motivation and listening! Where do you come from, and where are you headed?
Born & raised on the left side of the river Rhine in that beautiful village Düsseldorf I started my career in advertising at GREY where I stayed for almost 14 incredible years. From apprentice to Group Head producer I made all steps through the TV department. The last 10 years I spent at a production house called Laterna Magica as an Executive Producer where I ran the Düsseldorfer office.
With more than 2 decades of experience both on the agency and production side and numerous shoots and productions I served multiple creatives and clients and led production teams of all sizes. As a TV & Film producer, I learned that there is always a (good) solution for any problem and always an answer to any question.
I think I'm a very balanced person with no or little peaks in both directions - thanks to my wife who is a part-time yoga teacher. Breathe in, breathe out. If there is one thing that drives my adrenaline level these days... with a tennis addicted daughter experiencing a tight set in one of her matches, this is definitely a booster for my blood pressure.
Center Court tickets for a day at the Australian Open in the beginning of the year would really be something out of this world.
The questions to be answered are so varied that a single app would not suffice. But armed with a MacBook and a smartphone, I know how to find solutions to most of the issues I'm facing. Definitely one thing I learned being a producer.
A bit of this, a bit of that... news, gossip, updates... whatever comes my way and feels interesting will get my attention. My offline pack consists of my wife, my daughter and our little Jack Russel dog Murphy. Those are the people I meet the most offline. But I love to enjoy a good glass of wine in good company.
Spending weekends over weekends in clubs of the late 90's/early 00's and even ending up DJ-ing there, the music that shaped me was any kind of electronic. Although my musical horizon was always much wider, I still find myself returning to the beats and vibes from that time for every occasion... joyriding, taking the dog out for a walk, work-out... If I would be asked for my personal best three albums ever written, it would be DAFT PUNK's "Homework", THE STREETS' "Original Pirate Material" & RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE debut album. |

Where do you come from, and where are you headed? I hail from the land of Sicily, where the sun kisses the sea and the cannoli are to die for. Where I'm headed? I'm on a mission to animate the world in 3D, one pixel at a time. What really moves me is the incredible journey of watching my children grow and develop. There's something profoundly moving about witnessing a human being evolve from scratch, it's a daily reminder of the beauty of life and the endless potential within each of us. Where do you come from, and where are you headed?
Hi, my name is Duncan Büsch. I was born in Düsseldorf, but my parents decided to move to the small town of Jüchen, where I have been living for the past 20 years.
I would say that the most important skills I have are my ambition and my empathy. My goal is to take these skills to a new level through Parasol. I would like to develop them further by having the opportunity to work in areas where I learn many new skills, but also where I encounter honor and compassion. What bores you to death and what ramps up your adrenaline level? There's not that much, but I get bored of unnecessary lectures on things that are self-explanatory. There is a simple solution to the question of how I get my adrenaline pumping: Basketball. Every important game I had back then got my adrenaline pumping and my heart pounding. I can say that I enjoy competition and overcoming challenges. What’s your current object of desire, and what really moves you? At the moment I don't really have a specific object of desire. It's more of a status that I would like to achieve at some point. My biggest motivation is my son Lian and I want to be able to guarantee a good standard of living for him and my family. What gadget is indispensable and which application always has a solution? Probably the coolest gadget I own is my computer. I can use it to relax and play a game with my friends in the evening, but I can also work quickly on projects. ChatGPT is probably the application I come back to when I really don't know what to do. Or if I'm unhappy with some of the things I write, I use ChatGPT to see how it might be better. What website do you visit frequently? Whom do you meet offline? The last website I visited was YouTube to watch Urs Kalecinski's training video. Most of the time, I'm busy with my son. When I meet up with friends I meet up with people I've known almost all my life. What music are you enjoying at the moment? What are classics you would not want anyone to miss? I actually listen to all kinds of music, depending on my mood. From Kendrick Lamar to Adele. A real classic sound that will always be in my playlists is "Set fire to the rain". |

Where do you come from, and where are you headed?
I come from the dark side of Germany and I made it "rüber". And who knows - maybe someday I'll return there as a self-made man.
I bring a rather creative eye with me. Otherwise I always try to be friendly and sincere. I believe these skills need constant work. I expect the same from the talents in my team. Professional skills are important. How we treat each other is even more important.
I have a thick skin. I don't get bored easily. If a big fish is on the line, I get excited.
Family and home
My hands and my eyers are my most important gadgets. Without Youtube DIY tutorials, I'd be lost.
I try to stay away from screens in my free time, which I fail at miserably. Offline, I meet up with friends. Naturally.
Currently, I listen to more podcasts than music. Mostly about science. I really enjoy "Geschichten aus der Geschichte" and I also like entertainment like "Baywatch Berlin". The list of my classics is too long to be listed here. |

Where do you come from, and where are you headed? I was born in Mostowskoi, Russia, and moved to Germany when I was about three years old. I grew up in a (no longer so small) village called Ibbenbüren, in NRW. After finishing school, I wanted to study something that would allow me to create and be creative, so I chose architecture and moved to Bochum. After completing my studies, I worked as an architect for about four years before moving to Düsseldorf. After two years of full-time work, I realized I needed more space for art and creativity. I started my master's at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in the Baukunst Klasse. During this time, I was already deeply involved in photography, starting with analog film, which remains my ultimate guilty pleasure. Over time, this evolved into freelance work across various fields and for different clients. Last September, I had what I’d call a pre-midlife crisis. I realized I wanted to fully embrace the creative field and leave the construction industry behind. Things started falling into place—some friends told me about the P-Island, and now I’m here! I’m excited and looking forward to working with amazing people, learning, and growing. I also plan to take the opportunity to move to Berlin and join the office there at some point on this journey. If you’ve read this entire text up to here—congrats, you’re now a certified Player 1! 🎮 |

Where do you come from, and where are you headed?
I'm studying communication and PR in a dual program. I've been working as a PA in film production for two years, and I'm hoping to keep learning and growing in media and storytelling. What skills would you bring to the company? How would you want to develop your talents? I'm comfortable with the chaos of a set and finding quick solutions through my experience in filming documentaries. I'd love to develop my project management skills and learn more about the creative side of media. What bores you to death and what ramps up your adrenaline level? I get bored when everything is too predictable and stuck in routine. But when every day brings something new to tackle, it gives me an adrenaline kick and keeps me motivated! What’s your current object of desire, and what really moves you? Right now, I'm working on finding my own voice. What moves me is connecting with others - whether through a good story or a shared experience. What gadget is indispensable and which application always has a solution? My phone - I'm always using it for quick notes, schedules, and staying in touch. And for organizing my life, I rely on my iCal; it keeps me on track with school, work, and everything in between. What website do you visit frequently? Whom do you meet offline? I'm often on Pinterest, gathering ideas and inspiration. Offline I meet up with friends and dance whenever I get the chance - it's my main way to unwind. What music are you enjoying at the moment? What are classics you would not want anyone to miss? Right now, I'm into afrobeats for energy. But HipHop and RnB is my true love. Classics I love? Mockingbird by Eminem. |

Where do you come from, and where are you headed?
I’ve always been a very visual person – first it was fashion, then photography, and eventually I landed in film. Where I’m headed? Honestly, I don’t know yet. I’ve never been someone with a big master plan; I just follow what feels right at the moment. My only real goal is to never lose the joy in what I do. That’s what drives me. What skills would you bring to the company? How would you want to develop your talents? A good eye for aesthetics I would say but when something really sparks my interest, I tend to dive in deep and don’t let go. Right now, that “something” is film – and I’m fascinated by almost every part of it. That’s why I’m excited to be part of a company setup for the first time and get to know the ins and outs of production from within. It’s a welcome shift from being the freelancer who gets booked at the very end of the chain. What bores you to death and what ramps up your adrenaline level? When things stay the same for too long – that’s when I start yawning. Adrenaline kicks in when I’m at a new Dirtpark with my bike, staring down a jump for the first time, trying to guess whether I’ve got enough speed – or if I’m about to eat dirt. What’s your current object of desire, and what really moves you? Definitely a proper espresso machine – that’s the dream. But it’s not the caffeine that keeps me going. It’s the fun. If I enjoy something, that’s all the motivation I need. What gadget is indispensable and which application always has a solution? My noise-cancelling headphones, no doubt. Whether it's a screaming toddler on the train or Sabble Sabine in the coworking space – they’ve saved me more than once. And when it comes to solutions: ChatGPT is often faster than asking your parents. What website do you visit frequently? Whom do you meet offline? YouTube is constantly open on my screen. I don’t think there’s any site I spend more time on. As a freelancer over the past three years, I had plenty of time for coffee dates with friends. That’s about to change – which is why I really need that espresso machine at home. What music are you enjoying at the moment? What are classics you would not want anyone to miss? My music taste changes with the day. One minute it’s Ed Sheeran, the next it’s hard techno, and when I’m reading, I go for cinematic scores – 2WEI is a favorite. But lyrically? The songs by Schmyt are top-tier for me. Definitely modern classics in my book. |

Where do you come from, and where are you headed?
I'm from Germany and live in Cologne. I love living in my hometown so unfortunately I take the Deutsche Bahn or car to work in Düsseldorf and to study in Krefeld. What skills would you bring to the company? How would you want to develop your talents? I'm currently studying Communication Design and focusing on UX Design and Branding. I'm a creative person and like to forget about time when I'm working on exciting projects. I am very good at communication and love sharing projects and ideas with others. I think the results are getting better and better at doing that. Apart from English and a bit of French, my hidden talent is to understand/speak Kölsch. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, like probably many others, and often bite my way through difficult issues until I've found a solution. I want to be able to apply the things I learned at university and learn new skills. I want to see what it looks like in the real world of work and try out creative approaches to come up with innovative solutions. And most of all, I want to support a great team with new ideas and learn a new perspective. What bores you to death and what ramps up your adrenaline level? Going jogging and going to the gym bores me to death. I'm more of a team sport person. I like the height. I love roller coaster rides and collect free fall towers in different parks. I've had Disneyland, Moviepark, Phantasialand and Kirmes (Fairs?). But skydiving would be too scary for me. What’s your current object of desire, and what really moves you? Currently I want a nice green couch for my new bigger room. My sister has moved out and I get her room. Watch Out, it’s getting a little esoteric. I believe in various spiritual things. I like Buddhist wisdom, meditations and believe in signs that I encounter in everyday life. In many moments it gives me confidence and trust in my path to move on. What gadget is indispensable and which application always has a solution? To work, as sad as it sounds, my iPhone and my Macbook have become indispensable. I love working with Apple and having all my stuff in sync. Most of the time I use the Notes app because I can write down my thoughts and to-do lists so quickly. It allows me to get everything sorted and come up with my solutions. Privately, my favourite gadget is my lavender-scented Otter heating pad and my favourite app is Google Maps. I have a really good orientation but nothing would work without it. What website do you visit frequently? Whom do you meet offline? In fact, it's chat gpt at the moment. Especially for the university and research for concepts, it helps me a lot. Offline, I often spend time with my family, friends and my boyfriend. Otherwise, I meet a lot of strangers on the train and have conversations you wouldn't expect. A woman once told me that her husband was cheating on her and she was now stalking him via GPS tracker on his car and some software on his phone. What would you answer?! What music are you enjoying at the moment? What are classics you would not want anyone to miss? At the moment I mostly listen to Coldplay and Jeremias music.Coldplay's Fix You is my favourite classic. Other classics for me are some Queen songs, like Killer Queen or Radio Gaga, because I grew up with them. I would definitely recommend just watching Bohemian Rhapsody, it was a special movie. |

During my professional career as a 2D, 3D and visual artist, I moved to Schleswig-Holstein for several years and then to Lower Saxony for a few more years. I spent 20+ years freelancing in all these areas and worked on countless projects, which eventually brought me back home to the Ruhr area. After several years as a freelancer, including Parasol Island, I have now been a "permanent" part of this company for several years and hope that this will continue for even longer. Because I've already had enough changes of scenery ;)
What's the best way to develop your talents? Through the projects, of course, preferably the ones that challenge you. Even though I've had plenty of them in my 30+ years in the games-, animation feature- and advertising-industry, there's always a project that challenges you in a new way. Even if it's just debugging errors in the tools you deal with on a daily basis. Because even this is a talent that needs to develop.
Doing nothing is something I find very difficult and simply bores me to death. Anyone who knows me knows that when the project comes to an end, I'm already calling for the next one. Doing new things, especially things I've never done before in my field of work. Fortunately, there are always new tools that want to be explored and used. And yes, even after several years, being back on a skateboard and teaching your own children this adrenaline-charged sport. These are definitely a few things that still get my adrenaline pumping. My Retro Collection, my renewed activity in the demoscene and Pixel Art. Oh, that was three cravings, but let's sum it up. One piece, a collective work of things I grew up with as a teenager. My family. My Smartphone and Google. Facebook, Youtube, Google, Discord, Slack, clever-tanken.de, WhatsApp, Playstation Store, Steam, Pinterest. Offline life? That must be an old forgotten relic ;) If so, it's probably my family and friends. I listen to quite a lot, but it always depends on the mood I want to put myself in or the mood I'm in at the time. In general, though, it's metal, punk, alternative, rap (80s), drum & bass and movie soundtracks. |

Where do you come from, and where are you headed?
Grew up in the Bavarian mountains and somehow ended up in Essen, right in the middle of the Pott. Been in the media game foreeeever - got my first camera at 5, made funky gimp collages for friends in 5th grade, started a media design internship in 8th grade, worked as a photographer, trained as a media designer, and spent the last 3 years as an Art Director at BBDO and HeimatTBWA/. Now, I’m studying Fine Arts just for fun and kicking off my journey as a working student with you guys! What skills would you bring to the company? How would you want to develop your talents? I have an „Einrad-Urkunde“, does that count as a skill? But for real, I really want to use my skills and try to bring art and advertising closer together. What bores you to death and what ramps up your adrenaline level? I only get bored when there’s nothing new to create. The adrenaline hits when the doorbell rings, and I’m not expecting anyone - scary. What’s your current object of desire, and what really moves you? My ultimate desire and what truly drives me are creative people - they’re my endless source of inspiration. What gadget is indispensable and which application always has a solution? The gadget I can’t live without? Our Bialetti. It’s my morning lifesaver. Application? Try Cosmos - my daily inspiration app. What website do you visit frequently? Whom do you meet offline? In the analog world, I love going gassi with my girlfriend - and our dog wanda. What music are you enjoying at the moment? What are classics you would not want anyone to miss? Gotta be f a s t. |

Where do you come from, and where are you headed?
I come from the world of production, with a focus on digital advertising campaigns. I’ve spent my time making sure creative ideas are brought to life. Now, I’m excited to be here, work on great projects and grow as a Post Producer. What skills would you bring to the company? How would you want to develop your talents? I’m organized, good at problem-solving and keep a cool head when things get tricky. Keeping track of moving parts, making sure deadlines are met and finding solutions - I’d say that’s what I do best. I’d love to develop my expertise in high-end post-production workflows and explore new technologies in the field. What bores you to death and what ramps up your adrenaline level? I rarely get bored, actually, but time-consuming meetings are probably my least favorite thing. Working on a project with a tight deadline, solving creative challenges and seeing a team bring everything together? That can be very exciting. What’s your current object of desire, and what really moves you? At the moment, I am taking a Skillshare course in 3D modeling with Blender and it’s a lot of fun. And what really moves me? Out-of-the-box thinkers, artists and creatives who forge their own paths and influence others. What gadget is indispensable and which application always has a solution? My Kindle and my ChatGPT agent. What website do you visit frequently? Whom do you meet offline? Currently I’m a huge fan of the Noema Magazine. Offline, I meet up with all my close friends who live around the city. What music are you enjoying at the moment? What are classics you would not want anyone to miss? At the moment, I’m more of a podcast listener I’d say. But I love genre-blurring artists like ML Buch, Oneohtrix Point Never, Yves Tumor or Mark Pritchard. |

Originally from Mönchengladbach, soon hopefully back in Cologne. Long-term dream: Sicily. Sun, sea and pasta. You get the vibe. What skills would you bring to the company? How would you want to develop your talents? I bring a mix of structure, solid communication, empathy and a surprising love for to-do lists. And I will hopefully continue to develop my tech skills including coding. What bores you to death and what ramps up your adrenaline level? Death by pointless meetings is real. On the flip side, the countdown to a GoLive? Peak adrenaline. What’s your current object of desire, and what really moves you? Object of desire: A cozy flat in Cologne - preferably Belgisches Viertel or Ehrenfeld. Got leads? Let's talk A️nd what moves me? My pilates instructor. Literally. Muscles I didn't even know existed. What gadget is indispensable and which application always has a solution? Airpods, not a day without them. As for apps - not technically an app but honestly? My mom. Somehow always has the answer. What website do you visit frequently? Whom do you meet offline? t3n is my go-to for tech-y inspiration. Offline it's family, friends and anyone who appreciates good conversation (and good coffee). What music are you enjoying at the moment? What are classics you would not want anyone to miss? Currently listening to German hip-hop and a lot of techno. I'm originally from "Schwabenländle" and now I've been living in Berlin for 10 years. I studied Media Design and worked at MetaDesign for over 8 years. After that, I did a bit of marketing management before landing at Parasol Island. What skills would you bring to the company? How would you want to develop your talents? I bring a calm attitude and a positive mindset. I believe life is more like a marathon than a sprint. I'm always eager to learn new things and want to get better physically and mentally.
I get bored when I'm not doing anything. But I love sports because they really get my heart racing!
Right now, I'm really looking forward to my next surf trip. The idea of exploring new waves gets me really excited!
I can't live without my AirPods. And when I need answers, I always turn to Google.;)
I'm often on YouTube, watching videos of my favorite sports stars. And offline, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Where do you come from, and where are you headed?
I am originally from Duisburg. I moved to a small town near the beautiful Lake Constance for my studies. I'm definitely on my way to experience something different, both at work and in life.
In addition to technical skills in some programmes, I definitely have the energy and willingness to learn new things. I am particularly interested in working in an agency to experience teamwork and to learn about the technical processes in the industry. I want to gain practical experience and understand how projects are realised in the industry.
I am constantly bored by monotonous, repetitive tasks at my desk, even if they are sometimes necessary. Instead, I much prefer working in a team on technical and creative solutions and love challenges where I can learn something new.
My current object of desire is to improve my technical skills by exploring different programmes and workflows. I am passionate about telling stories through my creations, aiming to evoke emotions in people. What really motivates me is collaborating with others on projects, learning from their expertise and experiencing the satisfaction of achieving common goals together.
I really can't leave home without my in-ears. Music is essential at all times. That is why Spotify is my go-to application, always providing a solution by allowing me to listen to music in any situation.
I like using Type The Alphabet. It's really stress-relieving. My record is 4 seconds. Other than that I like to have fun with my friends at play nights or at the bar in my spare time.
I enjoy variations of music, from Hip-Hop beats, Alternative Pop to Hard Rock and Metal or East European Punk Rock. At the moment I really like the cover of Gimme Shelter by Thunder. |

I'm from Brazil, I currently live in Düsseldorf and I'm on my way to build a meaningful career in Germany, where I can combine my creativity and strategic thinking to make a real difference. Where do you come from, and where are you headed?
I’m currently based in Dortmund, but I'm originally from the Ruhr Area/Witten. In the last few years I have worked in brand communications, social media, creative concept & strategy. Mainly in agencies, but the smaller ones (up to 35 people). My last stop was an innovation agency focusing on product development and venturing, located in Berlin and Dortmund. Now I’m heading to Düsseldorf’s most vibrant island to support the company’s brand communications. What skills would you bring to the company? How would you want to develop your talents? Questionable jokes (that you don’t have to laugh about), hands-on social media skills, serious and not-so-serious communication skills e.g. copywriting, graphic stuff, a creative and open mind, concept & creative strategy skills. What bores you to death and what ramps up your adrenaline level? Boring af: Listening to voicemails at normal speed. Being forced to watch some boring YouTube videos with someone standing next to you waiting for you to laugh. Most LinkedIn posts. Adrenaline up: speed 2x What’s your current object of desire, and what really moves you? One of my biggest desires is quality time for sport, enjoying the outdoors, going on vacations, meeting people and reading. What really moves me is being in a place with other creative people with passion, learning from experts and hearing some inspiring stories from all kinds of people. What gadget is indispensable and which application always has a solution? I would like to take this opportunity to thank the inventor of noise-cancelling headphones. Feeling so blessed to live at the same time as these powerful gadgets. What website do you visit frequently? Whom do you meet offline? Pinterest, Google (big surprise), wetter.com, online shops (send help), TikTok & other socials, Letterboxd What music are you enjoying at the moment? German potato born and raised in Grevenbroich, living in Düsseldorf. Every person from my hometown is always proud as fuck, that they live/lived in the city, where Hort Schlämmer is coming from... you can decide if this is a flex or not.
I guess I am fun - let's find out together lol Waiting... Even though I always have to wait for my friends/family, I haven't got used to it and it booores me. Positive adrenaline: A really good cliffhanger Negative adrenaline: unpunctuality Object of desire: A balcony (which I'm currently missing). And I love good and honest books. Recommendation for a good cry: A little life by Hanya Yanagihara. I can't live without my AirPods. I enjoy the noise cancelling when I am not listening to music. ChatGPT always has an answer - a real savior when you need food for thought. Guilty - it's my TikTok FY-page. But I swear I have a funny algorithm. I could write a thesis about Beyoncé's impact in the music industry, so I guess you know my answer. But I am also a big 60's 70's fan and Kendrick is always part of my Spotify-wrapped. Where do you come from, and where are you headed?
I come from the town of Schwelm near Wuppertal, lived in Frankfurt for quite a while, and I think I’d like to live in a big city again someday.
your talents? I’ve worked in the games industry for a long time, and visualizing 3D real-time assets is one of my strengths. I enjoy both the artistic and the technical aspects of this field. I’d love to keep learning—also beyond 3D—especially about procedural workflows, pipelines, and learning from others.
Seeing the same thing over and over again really bores me. I’m fascinated when things come together in a way that seemed unlikely at first—that’s the kind of fusion that excites me.
I find 3D printing super exciting because it allows me to design something completely from start to finish. I’ve been eyeing a few resin printers and hope to make that dream come true sometime soon.
I love my headphones because they allow me to disconnect and tune out the world, wherever I am. My favorite app right now is definitely ChatGPT.
My go-to website is YouTube. I listen to music there, learn new workflows, and connect with others. In real life, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends the most.
not want anyone to miss? When I’m working, I love listening to old Super Nintendo soundtracks—there are countless all-time favorites. Besides that, I’m a big fan of skate punk and metal. |

Where do you come from, and where are you headed?Born in Düsseldorf, I was transitioning from an unsuccessful attempt at studying computer science to becoming the nerdiest media designer out there.
While video editing is my daily bread and butter, I love to learn new skills across the entire post-production process. From motion design to sound design, compositing to color grading, I'm definitely no expert (yet), but I aspire to master all of them one day. There is just one exception: I hate the Z-axis, so I am not into 3D programs.
Ironically, I hate writing text. I take too much time to be structured enough so my counterpart will understand what I wanted to say. But learning new skills, automating everything and editing with exciting music definitely get my heart racing in an unhealthy way.
I think my main desire is to be happy and have fun, and do this with friends an colleagues.
Definitely my trusty headphones. Whether editing on train rides, collecting new music or just switching off my brain - with these bad boys I'm always settled. For all videos, I always know that my friend DaVinci Resolve has the solution.
Youtube, Instagram and Reddit. But i desperately try to reduce my time on those... I am very lucky that my childhood friend group is still very intact. So we meet regularly and also go on beautiful trips.
I am ADDICTED to the music from Kiltro. Try out "Errasuriz" and "Mi Capitán". |

Where do you come from, and where are you headed?
I spent a year at a startup called Wholey. They produce natural, vegan, and refined sugar-free cereals, granolas, and smoothie bowls—a delicious chapter filled with fun, new experiences and new perspectives. Now, I'm heading to Parasol, where I want to focus more on creation, campaigns, and my big passion for storytelling and moving images. What skills would you bring to the company? How would you want to develop your talents? I love diving deep into brand cultures, flipping perspectives, and crafting messages with emotion, relevance, and impact. I'm a creative wild child, constantly drawing inspiration from multidisciplinary fields, always curious, always alert. My greatest strengths? A sharp instinct and my let’s-make-shit-happen attitude. What bores you to death and what ramps up your adrenaline level? Overthinking and endless uncertainties bore me to death. Passion, determination, and spontaneity in the face of the unexpected get my adrenaline pumping. What’s your current object of desire, and what really moves you? Drinking my first coffee in the morning from a hand-crafted mug made by my daughter. Fresh flowers—an absolute must in our home. I have a soft heart and a deep sensitivity to my surroundings—often, it's the smallest gestures and moments that move me the most and could make me burst in tears -literally! What gadget is indispensable and which application always has a solution? A homemade inhaler stick with cinnamon and eucalyptus—crafted by my husband for that little dopamine kick. TikTok and ChatGPT are at the moment my go-to search engines for just about everything. What website do you visit frequently? Whom do you meet offline? Various Interior design platforms—we're currently planning on building a room within a room. Offline? As much as possible—I love meeting friends and enjoying life beyond the screen. What music are you enjoying at the moment? What are classics you would not want anyone to miss? Currently loving Kiefer, Ivy Lab, and Snoh Aalegra—always good vibes, always soothing.
