Parasol - Load RenderPasses Zero

From Parasol

Compositing Scripts

Description

[edit]

Load_RenderPasses is a Script to improve your workflow, when you use Multipass Renderings stored as singlechannel Exrs.

Instead of importing a specific Light or Data Pass by browsing through folder, you only need to take one pass or the beauty Rendering, select it and run the script.

You have the choice to select the pass you wanted to be imported via the Askuser Interface. In this Version of the script no pass is checked by default, so no pass will be imported by default.

If you want to import all or a lot passes use --Parasol--Load RenderPasses

The Renderpasses are sorted by a giving List Described on top of the script. That List is now specified for Vray Lightpasses. Any Pass that does not belong to the list is imported last.

There is also an embedded color code:

Result Passes are basically blue and can be distinguished by a brigthness change. Raw Passes are basically green and can also be distinguished by a brigthness change. Data passses like depth passes are grey and differs in brightness. Any Pass not included in the list is clear grey.

This color code is also based on the the list which is described in the script.

Requirement

[edit]

Python 2.7 must be installed!

The renderings should be stored as an Imagesequence exr is the best opportuninity.

All Sequences should be stored into the same Folder.

The files should be named like this:

"Path\Scenename..Pass.Frame.Extension"

How To Use

[edit]

Import a Beauty or any Lightpass from your rendering into Fusion. Or use a rendering that is already imported... Select the Node so it turns yellow.

Go to the Script Folder and select Script->Parasol. In the parasol Folder any Script is stored, which is written for Parasol Pipeline.

Select --Parasol--Load_RenderPasses_Zero. The script will be executed aand an AskUser inteface from Fusion will appear. You have now the choice to select the renderpass you want to import.

After that another AskUser interface appears and asks, if you want to a divide node after each loader.
