Welcome

Welcome to OS/ the new ecosystem for Parasol Island! This article will give you an overview about the basic things you need to know to use our new Parasol OS Ecosystem.
We designed OS/ to be self-explanatory, however; should you ever get lost, use the little help & chat function on the bottom right at the red dot.

In OS/

Login

  • You will receive an invitation via eMail.
  • Your Parasol Google Account is your personal login to OS/.

OS/ Budget

Your Workspace Settings

  • After you logged in, please define the Parasol Island GmbH workspace as your Default Workspace in your personal workspace settings.

Projects

  • You can either click on your Parasol Island GmbH workspace to join the Recent Projects Dashboard
  • or click on Projects to see the full list of all projects you have access to.
  • Hide and show columns you want to see, filter your projects, depending on your personal needs.
  • In case you are a project owner, or supervisor, the project list also shows you details about your current budget and the money you spend, etc..
  • from here, you can create new projects

Create a Project

  • creating a project, also means you have to choose one of the three project types:
  1. Client Service Project --> for Regular, paid-for-client projects, generating revenue
  2. New Business Project --> for New business initiatives like pitches, generating Overhead
  3. Internal Project --> for Internal and operational projects, generating Overhead
  • please also be aware of and define the correct specific Project Status: created, expected, confirmed, delivered, etc.

Your Project Management

  • Manage you project by updateing the following project areas
  1. Settings --> change you project runtime, project status
  2. Team --> define you project team and their roles in your project
  3. Incoming Invoices --> plan, receive and confirm incoming invoices of your project here
  4. Files--> send and receive files for your project here
  5. Outgoing Invoices --> plan, and create outgoing invoices to your client here
  6. Budget --> define your project budget (calculation) and send offers, and order confirmations here
  • These pages are self-explanatory, we are sure you will find your way around quickly.
