[edit]

FS75’s layout and architecture puts your demand for great teamwork, communication and collaboration, for concentration and focused work sessions at first. For an inspiring and community-driven everyday work-life and supreme results.

A FLEXIBLE WORKSPACE

[edit]

We want to enable everyone working at our new office to decide what working environment fits best to the current needs and tasks. We provide you with quiet zones for concentration and space for communication and collaboration. That impacts that we have a flex desk policy and there are no more private desks.

THE LAYOUT

[edit]

Our new office is divided into two floors:

The First Floor

[edit]

The first floor is dedicated to focussed and concentrated working. We call it the “Focus Space”.

This floor is our quiet zone – that means no music (except you wear your headphones), no talking to team mates, no phone- and video-calls. The Focus Space is divided in two parts: The back, we call it “My Focus Space” is the most quiet zone.

In the front “Team Focus Space” offers the same regulations with one exception: organized team workshops are welcomed.

The Ground Floor

[edit]

The ground floor is called the “Community Space”. In the back we will will work together, interact and collaborate with your colleagues and clients. But for client meetings please book one of the meeting rooms.

The front part of the “Community Space” – right behind the front desk – is the zone to welcome friends, small-talk with colleagues or enjoy a Feierabend beer – the Lounge.

The Kitchen
[edit]

The big community kitchen is also set in the ground floor but currently still under construction. It will soon be ready for cooking sessions together with your colleagues or alone. In between we provide you with two kitchenettes located on each floor with coffee, soft drinks, and a fridge.

Meeting Rooms

[edit]

We provide you with three co-working spaces which you will soon be able to book via your Google Calendar. More about this in the next few days.

Film Suites & Music Composing Studio

[edit]

There are 3 suites for the film production and Jonathan’s music studio.

The Second Floor

[edit]

This is the location of another company called “Studio Kunst”: You will probably meet in the public stairway. Be nice to our new neighbors.

FAQs

[edit]

Why

[edit]

Why did we move?
We have been at Neusser Straße for 10 years. We started there with a one floor office, it wasn't originally intended to host more than 70 Parasols. As our contract had to be renewed with the landlord in 2022 we had a lot of topics on the list for a more modern workspace. At Neusser Straße we were not able to fulfill this demand with an economically reasonable concept. At Florastraße we had the chance to reconstruct the location from scratch to support the way we want to work and bring our visions to reality.

When

[edit]

When can I go to Florastr. work?
From February 14th. The existing remote office concept remains.
When can I communicate the new address?
Immediately if you haven't already. From February 1st, 2022, Florastr. 75, 40217 Düsseldorf is our official business address. Please take into account for supplier invoices, orders, contracts, etc. from February onwards.
Do I personally have to pay attention to anything because the address changes?
No. Just don't drive to Neusser Straße in the morning.
When can I receive customers in the FS75?
From around February 1st, if you need suitable rooms and infrastructure get back to Dana.

Pandemic Concept

[edit]

Anything new regarding our hygiene protocol?
Will be identical to Neusser Straße in Florastraße.

Neighbors

[edit]

What about the people at the 2nd floor?
Studio Kunst GmbH (works in the fields branding and brand communications) from Rainer Kunst works on the second floor, as well as some subtenants. Be nice!

Preliminary time

[edit]

How long did the whole process of moving take?
We have been looking for a new space for quite a while. From the day the opportunity to work at Florastraße came at sight till now it took us more than 15 months to plan and build our new workspace.

History of the house

[edit]

What was the space before?
Our workspace was originally a printing house. Before us, Rainer Kunst (now on the 2nd floor with Flora & Fauna) has been using the space and renting it out to smaller ventures.

Real estate status

[edit]

Did we buy or do we rent the new workspace?
We are part of a community of owners together with Rainer Kunst.

Keys

[edit]

Where can I get my new key from? What happens to the old keys?
You probably received the new Düsseldorf key at the Christmas party. The IT department may be involved for keys that have not yet been issued yet, or get back to the office management. Keep the old key for the Berlin office

Workspace Design

[edit]

Who is responsible for the design?
Sebastian and Charles were in charge of the interior concept and design. A lot of the pieces are customized and built for us. The layout of the whole space reflects the demands of our team - as said above: the workspace puts your demand for great teamwork, communication and collaboration, for concentration and focused work sessions at first. For an inspiring and community-driven everyday work-life and supreme results.

Workspace Layout

[edit]

How do I choose my zone?
The desks are flexible. Just choose the zone (floor) that matches best for your current needs. Groundfloor: Be approachable for colleagues, stay communicative. 1st floor: Complete e.g. a keynote or a concept in a quiet atmosphere with high concentration.
What about meeting rooms and suites
There are three suites on the new island, as well as three co-working spaces, which you will soon be able to book via your Google Calendar. More about this in the next few days.

Desks

[edit]

Flex desk policy
Workplaces or desks cannot be booked or reserved. Of course meeting rooms.
Clean desk policy
The workplaces are found clean and left clean. Please do not leave any items there overnight. The cleaning team is instructed to dispose of leftover things and documents.

Personal storage space

[edit]

Where can I put my belongings?
Each employee has a drawer for personal belongings on the 1st floor. Get your drawer key at the office management. If you like, you can label your drawer with a labeling device (old school Dymo)
Equipment storage space
We have much less storage space than in Neusser Straße. If you need extra space for equipment or props, please contact the office management.

Phone number and IP addresses

[edit]

Is there a new number?
Our phone number remains the same. Each employee keeps his extension which he receives also on his mobile. More details later.
New IP addresses?
Our external IP addresses and telephone numbers will remain identical after the relocation.

Technology and special equipment

[edit]

What about special tech?
All workstations and desks are equally available to all employees.
Special technology is only installed in the suites. The desk workstations on the 1st floor and in the library have a monitor (EIZO 2k and 4k, 27”, 32” and “38 wide”). There is a LAN at selected workstations, and at all workstations.
Two sockets for charging the mobile phone or for additional peripherals. The setup is connected to your own computer via USB-C.
Network and internet
We have installed a modern WiFi6 infrastructure and expect full bandwidth anywhere in the office.

Construction Work

[edit]

Should I be aware of construction site safety in the first weeks?
Yes plesae, there is still work to be done here and there. Please take care of yourself – and the holes in the ground!
Contact. Who is the contact person for construction issues?
Please contact Dana or Sebastian.

Client Meetings

[edit]

Can I organize a customer take-up in the new office at the end of February? Sure. Please schedule a little extra time as everything is new. If you like, feel free to take your customer on a little office construction site tour

Berlin office

[edit]

Our space there will be adjusted, what's the status?
The spatial and utilization concept is complete, we are currently in the implementation planning and submit the building application. We're planning to complete the conversion at the latest by the end of June this year.

Parking

[edit]

I'm coming by bike, where can I park it?
In the bicycle cellar there is currently a provisional static support for the patio. If that doesn't bother you, you can park your bike there (and only there, please;-). Access iit from the garage door, Bilker Allee 92.
Can I park my private car at the inhouse car park?
Unfortunately not. But some of the parking spaces at Bilker Allee are free of charge. Furthermore you can find some parking spaces around the Düsseldorf Arcaden.

Coffee, Cigarettes, Cooking, Party

[edit]

Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and on the entire site.
Coffee: Is there coffee although the kitchen is not ready yet?
Yes, of course there will be coffee ;) Beer too.
Cooking: Can I cook myself food for lunch?
First provisionally only in the suite kitchens as the community kitchen is not ready yet.
Is there an opening party?
Due to the pandemic situation, no opening party is currently planned. away. But we are planning a small "Everyday Soft Opening" concept. Stay tuned.

Business cards

[edit]

Due to the low use, we only put up (new) business cards ask the office management.
